Catherine Truman, CATHERINE TRUMAN ARCHITECTS

Catherine Truman

Catherine Truman founded the firm in late 2013, after 15 years at Ann Beha Architects. While at ABA, she founded and ran the residential portion of the practice, where her projects included major residential renovations, expansions, and new construction in historic districts. She also ran several large institutional renovation projects, all with existing buildings or in historic contexts.

Catherine Truman holds a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Dartmouth College. Her previous work experience, before Ann Beha Architects, included Foster and Partners in London, the National Parks Service Historic American Building Survey and Historic American Engineering Record, the Museum of Modern Art, the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, and an international exchange internship with US/ICOMOS in Split, Croatia. She is a registered architect in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and is LEED accredited.

Julia Davis

Julia Davis joined CTA in the spring of 2014, after 9 years at Anmahian Winton Architects. She holds a Master of Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, both from the University of Virginia. Her previous work experience also includes MDO Architects, David M. Schwarz Architects and Lavallee Brensinger Architects. She is a registered architect in the state of Massachusetts and is LEED certified.

Erin Hunter

Erin Hunter joined CTA in the fall of 2015. She holds both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rhode Island School of Design. Erin’s previous experience includes design roles at Kite Architects of Providence, RI, focusing on adaptive re-use of historic buildings in Providence, RI and at Andre Tchelistcheff Architects of New York City, specializing in the renovation of townhouses and multi-family residential buildings. She is a registered architect in the State of Massachussets.

Emily Spain

Emily Spain holds a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design from Endicott College. Since graduating in 2013, she has worked with JH Spain Construction, Spurling Thomas Period Design, and Stantec Architecture. Before working with Catherine Truman Architects, Emily lived in the La Rioja region of Spain where she studied the Spanish language and culture.

Molly Powers

Molly Powers holds a Bachelors of Science from Endicott College in Interior Design and a Minor in Business. Her previous work experience includes LDa Architecture & Interiors, Winter Street Architects, The Patterson Group, and Tocci Building Corporation.
